Kissaou Tchedre, PhD., MBA, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Tchedre is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer for AmritaGen and is a member of the company’s executive management team. In this role, Dr. Tchedre is responsible for providing overall direction, leadership, and strategy for the company.
Dr. Tchedre is a Biomedical Scientist with 13 years’ experience in R&D research and commercial Ocular Medical Device development (Menicon Co. Ltd). Dr. Tchedre lead the establishment of Menicon’s R&D innovation Center in France and Geneva, Switzerlabd. Dr. Tchedre has international R&D research and business experience spanning North America, Asia and Europe (including Japan, France, and Switzerland). Dr. Tchedre was the Director of Biopharma Operations at Nanoscope Therapeutics. Dr. Tchedre contributed to the development of a Gene therapy product that is currently in phase 2b clinical trials. He obtained his Postdoctoral training in Neuroscience and Molecular Basis of Eye diseases at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
Dr. Tchedre received his PhD in Biomedical Science and has an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center and the University of Phoenix respectively. He serves as a Biology and Biotechnology Professor in the Biology and Biotechnology Departments at the Austin Community College. Dr Tchedre authored several peer review scientific manuscripts that can be found on PubMed.
